Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, auto lockouts are always guaranteed to be damage free unless someone else has damaged the door or lock prior to our arrival.

This varies on the type of key that needs to be made. If you’re getting a duplicate of your key at our shop, it usually only takes 15 – 20 minutes. If your keys are lost and we have to come to the vehicle to originate a new one, it can sometimes take 30 – 60 minutes.

This also varies depending on the year, make and model of your vehicle, and the scope of work being done. Typically if you have a key in good condition we can copy from, it’s cheaper to get one made at our shop, whereas if your key is lost, it costs a little more to have a technician come out to the vehicle to originate a key. A good way to tell is to take a look at your key, and if it has a black or gray plastic head, there’s a good chance it’s actually chipped. If you aren’t sure, don’t hesitate to ask!
